Default Dubbers, any opinions on the VMaxx system?

Looking for something to throw on a daily driver. Mostly looking for a nice ride with the ability to adjust the height.

I can't seem to get a decent opinion through the threads on vwvortex.com.

I remember there was a big thread on vortex about these coils but I can't find it now but, everyone seemed to be pleased with them. I plan on getting a set myself

They definitely are priced right.

The only bad things I have heard about them is that they can be bouncy when slammed, and the seals tend to blow. But if you just want a decent drop for a daily driver I don't see how you could go wrong.

Yea, I wasn't looking to dump it. They run about the same as a spring/shock combo. So I figure if I can get better control for the same price/ride quality, then hell.

I know this probably isn't what you're looking for, but I'll give my advice anyway.

The suspension in your car is what keeps you from driving off the road and killing yourself or others. I know high quality coils are expensive. But in my opinion, if there's any area of car modification that you should absolutely NOT cut corners on, it's the suspension.

Why not save up a few more bucks and buy an entry-level coilover from a well known and proven manufacturer. In my opinion, you can't beat KW V1s for a lower cost coilover.
