Drag Maryland
Just post in Drag NOVA. Anybody who keeps a serious tab on the scene in MD by DC keeps an eye on the Drag NOVA section. See, the scene in MD is VERY VERY disorganized. The ones by DC have it somewhat together, but thats because theres a core group that rolls with the NOVA people, who have it much more together.
Also, in MD you got ppl who roll in DC, and people who roll in Baltimore. Even though it only takes 20 mins to get from 495 to 695, people from one city rarely mingle with people from the other city (hell, people who live on the NE side of Baltimore HARDLY EVER come to the southside of Baltimore). I am one of the few people who live around Baltimore that hangs out by DC (in fact I will be moving closer to DC when I get my degree). This is partly due to the fact that DC and Baltimore are two ENTIRELY different cities. DC is a white-collar bureaucratic city, whereas Baltimore is blue-collar and heavily industrial by nature. The people in Baltimore have a small-town attitude by default. To say in some cases that Baltimore is a "city of small-town people" would be very accurate.
The scene in both cities is very different. It would be difficult for me to describe the differences to you, but if you have ever chilled with the car people in Baltimore down on Northern Parkway, on Route 2, or NE of Baltimore, and then went to Fairfax you would immediately know the difference. I think Fairfax is the much better choice, b/c so far in Baltimore whenever I have showed up at the spots to chill, the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and I always keep an eye on my car. That, and one night some piece of trash was so messed up on drugs that he pulled a gun and started aiming it around for no freaking reason. After that, I don't roll with the Baltimore crowd, b/c a very large population of these guys smoke up, shoot up, etc. Do what you want with your own body, but I don't do drugs, and b/c of that fact I don't fit in well with those guys/girls, so I just don't roll with them period.
I will say though that in Baltimore Vivid Images Car Club and Most Wanted Car Club definitely have their acts together.

Maryland people suck at driving so what's the point? So they can discuss how they don't know how to merge into traffic? Or how they think that its ok to stop in the middle of the highway to answer a cell phone, or how they think it's ok to not even worry about paying attention to those one things.. What are they called.. Oh that's right.. Mirrors. Or that they don't know that there is a point to having the speed limit posted on a sign on the side of the road ever few miles. I hate Maryland drivers. But I really like the fact that I keep a ton of pennies in my car now. Oh, and let me not forget. THE LEFT LANE IS FOR FASTER TRAFFIC YOU IDIOTS. Ok, I feel better now, thanks.
