Dohc or Sohc
I am looking to get a D16y8 and all the necessary internals to slap on a complete eldebrock turbo kit. Or a shipped H22a motor which I would break down and beef up to go all motor. Any input would be great. I am concerned with price, power, durability. Thanks

It all depends on how big your pockets are IMO if you have a job and have money go for DOHC, but you can always go SOHC turbo and stomp on some DOHC all motors but then you will get stumped by dohc turbo's.

WTF? You are asking this for a Honda? SOHC is made for torque and is being slowly replaced by DOHC. Being a Honda even with a possible S/C in the future SOHC will have smaller gains than DOHC and a lot less top end.

hmmmm....i've beaten plenty of b16 and b18 turbos with my d16 turbo. i say d16. cheap, reliable, and easier to work on than a dohc motor.
