"DO-LUCK" CAME OUT WITH A 'VTEC INDICATOR GAUGE" FOR HONDA!!!
I'll stick with the LED replacement clock we (my buddy and I) made for his car. It replaced the stock clock, and was green normally. When VTEC engaged it turned red (we used a bicolor LED display which is why the entire clock had to be replaced) and when the CEL came on both red and green turned on, making it amber. It was cool flashing the codes out with the clock..
That was a fun one-off project, but I'll never do it again, too much of a pain in the ass to design everything to fit in the stock housing. It was 99% packaging (surface mount circuit board layout to cram everything in there) and 1% electronics design. Fun in a twisted sort of way though.
Someday I'll do the boost gauge clock for the WRX that goes from clock to boost readout by button or pressure threshold. That one has been on the back burner for a while..

Post pictures if you got 'em, I'd like to see how yall fit everything in.
That was years ago, like 7 or 8 easy, and that car was sold long ago. I'm curious where it ended up though, someone has a cool clock, or maybe they sold it on HondaTech or something, who knows.
