One of them is 1 solid piece, the other is split?

Just a guess.

 

1 peice is one peice all hte way to the cat..2 peice is the header itself and a downpipe to the cat

 

is there any advantages/disadvantages to a one/two piece header? always wondered.

 

Well it all depends, if a 2 piece has two different size pipes so one fits into another then I could see that effecting air flow a very small amount. If there the same size with a connecting piece I wouldnt see a difference. Since I never used one I dont even know which they are.

 

one peice flows better but is a bitch to remove. 2 peice is allot easier to remove yet thats one more gasket to replace. i would vote for a 1 peice because they just look better
