Decisions, decisions...
civic
dont buy domestic man. i hate to say it
that civic will hold its value if you ever decide to get rid of it. te way things are working now you can buy a civic and turn around 4000 miles later and sell it for 3k more than you just bought it.
and all you have to do is tune ups, tires and belt changes at 90k
plus they are decently fast with mods

I would go with the si out of all those choices as well. Although I did have a cobalt(not stock) hang with me through third gear the other night and I have to give them some credit now.
my cousin did.
hondas are doing that right now, the market is different here in north carolina i guess. people are buying fits for 14k driving them 10k miles and selling them for 16k easy after negotiations
and i was looking into buying an 07 si, and i was looking at coupe with the works-nav. dealer gave me 22k.
i see 07 for sale now at 22k with same equipment and 20000 miles on them.

Why spend up your savings when you can spend the banks money? As long as the interest rate is low it's smarter to finance in case you get in a situation where you need that cash right away.
Went to Hall today, he seemed stuck on sticking on MSRP. Going back to Casey again tomorrow(hopefully) and get the MSRP a tad lower, or get a banging APR %.
I drive a 2001 Hyundai Elantra (same motor as 2001 Tibs, not sure about later) now. It does it's job but that's all...
lolwut?! "Test" drove a CR. Creamed.
I have 9 Month's payments saved up. To get me through school, just incase something happens where I can't work. And a little fall back money, just incase.
I want to stick with the Mazda, but I need either a little budge lower then MSRP, or an amazing APR %.
So, the SI seems to be the next inline, again thanks to all who posted, and for any other advice/opinions/s2k's coming in.

EDIT: Figure I would add, I am paying for the car solely myself, minus a $1k down payment contribution from my parents.
EDIT2: To the guy mentioning the GTI, firstly, I can't believe I didn't remember to look at it. But secondly, when I did, I got that feeling of "I'm not gonna like this."
