Default Dash opinion...

okay heres the deal... big scott, the guy who had the car before me cut holes in the dash and mounted gauges, it LOOKS nice but i cant see the G'D readouts... i want to move the gauges, but the holes will be there... what do you suggest i do? i was thinking getting some sort of honda logo made out of the same color and putting it over it. or somethin.. any ideas is a good one... heres a pic to give you an idea too.

Go hardcore and build a sheetmetal dash like I am.

Or you could modify the existing holes/gauge mounts so they point to the driver.

either get some gauge cups that have an angle, or uh... go to the junkyard and get a new dash?

I would really like to avvoid getting another dash...what im thinkin of doing is making a template, and see how in the middle of the dash there is a curvy inset that follows around the vents? well i could machine a stainless steel insert for that and waterjet a subtle honda logo... i dont know.. gauge cups are an option as well.... or what about is there a JDM dash that would fit in there?

Autometer makes a gauge pod that might cover some of those holes for a 92-95 civic(thats what i think yours is, based off the dash and stuff). if thats not gonna work or if its not what you want then just get the guage cups i guess. or try the honda emblem like you were talking about

Go to the bottom, the angle rings might be of some interest to you.
