State Police To Crack Down On Speeders

Drivers on Interstate 64 in Virginia will see more state troopers than usual today and tomorrow.

Virginia State Police have kicked off the fifth wave of Operation Air, Land and Speed with extra patrols along the Interstate 64 corridor.

The program has targeted areas of I-95, I-81 and I-64. Troopers will saturate approximately 200 miles of I-64 from Staunton to Chesapeake with roving patrols, radar, and aerial speed enforcement.

State police use federal highway safety money for the extra enforcement.

Word up... Speeding hasn't negatively affected my life at all.. Rape, stealing, an driver education have..

Why not spend that money on better driver education.. Our country preaches so much on knowledge is power, but our driving curriculum is far from up to par..

At least teach people threshold breaking and how to regain traction...
