Damn good stuff. Glad they switched to a turbo.
Subaru really needs to do something with the 2009 or 2010 STI...more than likely the big change will be in 2010...because its starting to become very watered down.
The STI and EVO used to be neck and neck from the factory with very little compitition in the price range, I mean seriously...are you fucking kidding me:
3:19.0 - 2006 Mazda RX-8
3:19.0 - 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI
It couldnt even beat the RX-8? I no C&D driving isnt exactly consistant...but damn.

Please shut the fuck up. You said STIs...not 08+ STIs. Were also talking about stock cars. I admit the new STI isnt what it used to be, but unimpressive is not a word I would decribe '04-'07.
If we were talking about how well STIs/EVOs excepted mods, they both would be much higher on this list (as well as a few other cars listed).
Please dont turn this into another bullshit thread.

Good stuff. When me and nagger ran a while back (i had ~35whp less than I do now) there was one following and it did better than I thought it would.
Im just not a fan of the look, the wing looks way out of place and the car is too round.

I have however gotten to PDI a couple of the new Cobalt SS at work and they are sweet!
