Cleaning Rims

Default Cleaning Rims

How do I clean alloy rims... the top coat is coming off around the lip and the center caps and I wanna be able to make them look new again, how do i do that or is anyone willing to do it for me if i pay you, or do you know who i should go to?

if you put this in the tech forums you might get more replys, but maybe you could strip the rims then reapply the clear or get someone to do it for you, then wax and buff them? im not sure if that will work but your second choice could be to just get some medium grit sand paper and paint them

Wet sand the rest of the paint/clear off. Then polish them with mothers alum. polish

if you have a warranty for them, you might be able to get new ones. one of mine is doing the same thing, so thats what i'm gonna do. only thing is, the place i got them is not in VA.
