Default Classic Car Inspection

I know some of the requirements are different for their inspection then a car made recently. Does anyone know what the different requirement are. The vehicle is a 1970 International Scout 304 4wd 3spd

no difference in requirements, they must be able to pass safety inspection regardless of the year.

Put antique plates on it and don't worry about getting it inspected ever again.

The system for older cars is a little different. They have to pass inspection according to the year the car was made. For example, my dad's 64 Galaxie is not required to have seatbelts and can be passed for inspection without them because it did not come with them from the factory. Makes sense?

I hope they do what they are planning to do.. then 80% of the muscle cars that have license plates won't.
