I heard this on cnbc this morning, its a mind blowing idea. They say there is a 50-50 chance the merger deal goes through. Tough times call for desperate measures.

And just to add fuel to the proverbial fire, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are rumored to be hammering out some sort of platform sharing agreement. Seriously.

I still want to know who would possibly want to merge with Chrysler, they're in the worst trouble of them all, or at least they were until the other day when GM stock closed at $4.76 and Ford closed at $2.xx per share. Pssst, hey buddy, wanna buy an automotive manufacturer cheap?

Um, no. Honda dropped 12 points in two weeks, and they are still dropping. EVERYONE is feeling the hert, other than Walmart and a few other.

Not here in Florida, the 87 still @ $3.17 & 93 @ $3.39.
