What are you trying to do to the truck? If you want to be able to tow w/o worry get an equalizer hitch setup. I got mine from rvwholesalers on ebay and it was $399 shipped when they're over $600 retail. The difference towing with and w/o it is astounding, esp with my midsize truck.
Hitch + load sensing brake controller (prodigy or valley) + air helper springs = 100% safe towing and complete control over the load in all conditions.

Portsmouth trailer supply installed my valley brake controller and did the full wire on my truck becuse mine only came with a 4-pin harness. they did a fantastic job with great attention to detail.
When you get the equalizer setup take your time setting it up and read the instructions. It's not hard, but it took me and my dad most of a day measuring and moving the car around to find the best location and the best setting for the bars to keep everything level.
My "little" truck will tow 6000lbs at 80 with ease now.
