Hitch + load sensing brake controller (prodigy or valley) + air helper springs = 100% safe towing and complete control over the load in all conditions.
Was just looking for forums to read up on some info. I think i will be getting a equalizer setup. I went to portsmouth trailer today, and there prices pretty much sucked. Im only towing my miata with a full size silverado, its kind of overkill but oh well. Ill check the ebay guy.

Portsmouth trailer supply installed my valley brake controller and did the full wire on my truck becuse mine only came with a 4-pin harness. they did a fantastic job with great attention to detail.

When you get the equalizer setup take your time setting it up and read the instructions. It's not hard, but it took me and my dad most of a day measuring and moving the car around to find the best location and the best setting for the bars to keep everything level.

My "little" truck will tow 6000lbs at 80 with ease now.
