Default Carbon Deposit Removal

Alright, I got the 7 painted and upon getting it back the carbon deposits on my exhaust(still stock mufflers) are really disturbing now. What works for taking those carbon deposits off so I can get them looking better again?

if the paint is stained then your pretty much fucked unless you try wet sanding. if its just specles, then soap and water will do fine.

try something acidic like coca-cola or straight kool-aid (sugarless type) mixed with a little water... the acid in that stuff esp the coke can do wonders for cleaning off metal...
