insurance is now dicking me over. They are trying to say that because the car was not in my name yet because i didnt have the title that i cannot get anything. I just recieved the title today because the previous owner had to have it payed off but i did have a bill of sale. I dont know what to do now.

 

Brandon ive insured cars before I bought them for transport. You dont have to have the title yet, just the vin #.

yeah i hope i find the car as well and we are fighting with the insurance company now becuase we called and told them we were waiting on the title and we were moving to florida and we wanted to get insurance on it.

They took our money and did not say anything about a problem with not having the title yet. So we were not trying to commint fraud. we told them the whole storty and they let us put full coverage on it. But now since something happened they are saying it isnt covered.

regardless of whether they should have covered it we payed them for it and i have a bill of sale saying it was my car. So I WILL GET MY MONEY

 

If they gave you a policy number that means it was insured. Did you get one?

Yea dont worry, if they issued a policy, they cant go back on it like that. They always try to dick you, and most people give up, thats why they do it. Stay persistant and you will get your money.

i found a forum called tampa racing and we will see if it is my car but a guy posted a 00 SI PART OUT in the forum the night after my car was stolen and he said he was selling the parts for his friend. I tried to act like i wanted the front end for a conversion and asked if it was red because that way i wouldnt have to paint my car but he never replied back. I called the cops and told them but they dont sound like they are going to look into it so im going to keep looking into it and see if i can meet up to look at the front end. I will keep you all updated
