It might fit better in the engine bay.

It would be helpful to know what car probably. That's somewhat important for making arbitrary guesses about whether something will fit.

should since it's a lift back...just take care wraping it so as to not break or crack your rear window

i dunno if it's relevant, but i've driven with a d16a6 in my passenger's seat for a bout 3 hours (seat belt was buckled for safety of course) and also a d16z5 (zc) in the passenger seat at a later time...

so yea, it'll fit... just in case you need a 1234567890th opinion...
