BRAKE HELP ASAP EMERGENCY
So I've got to get to work today, but cant until this is solved.
I was replaceing some lugs on my car and had to remove the brake rotors and caliper assmebly. When I took them off they came off together, but I didnt realize I wouldnt be able to get them back on with all 5 lugs.
I NEED TO GET THE CALIPER OFF OF THE ROTOR. There seems to be a lip on the outside edge of the rotor from wear that's keeping the rotor in place. How can I release the brake pressure to remove the rotor from the caliper's grip??? The rotor will turn, but wont pull out.
I NEED HELP!!!!!

Re: BRAKE HELP ASAP EMERGENCY
no the pads can come out without the rotor coming off. ive done numerous brake jobs. the caliper has two pieces. One the housing of the piston, two the bracket. pull the housing first. that comes off by two bolts on the back side. and the same with the bracket. what steps have you done so far?
