is this game really fun? i think i might have to go shell out 250 dollars or so soon, get the PS2 with network pack and get this game , when i saw the ads on tv for it, it looked like it would be cool, but ALOT of ricey shit

Is there a certain way to unlock more rims? I've won tons of races and I keep getting new cars and performance upgrades, but the rims are still the same. Do I just have to keep playing longer?
