Boostlag's Major request.I need most of VAD in here.
Ok people,heres the deal. Im sure most of you know that I will be returning to the states in a few months from dep.
I have a request.I will be taking block leave for 30 days sometime between may,and june.In that 30 days I will be back in virginia,doing a lot of things.But mainly spending time with friends and family I havent seen for almost a year.As it sits right now..the army is requesting anyone that doesnt have 8 years of service,to do a mandatory active 8 years.(nothing is written in stone,but it was put out by a sgt maj.)That means instead of me having 2 years left,I got 6.And im 100% positive,I will be going on another deployment,and will be getting thrown anywhere/everywhere.I also plan on changing job classes,so that pretty much takes away my choice of duty station period.
Heres my request :
Theres a lot of people on this board that I have never met in person.theres some people on this board that I have met,but not on a basis good enough to remember.I know theres another VAD meet going down in spring/summer as well.What I was wondering,is if I could kind of combine my homecoming party/meet,with the VAD meet,and schedule it around the time I return.I know its asking a lot,as im only one individual,and lots of people dont even know who the fuck I am.But its just a request,seeing as I probably wont see VA again for a long time,after those 30 days of deployment leave.

really? I remember posting it up here,and having it for obo,and people lowballing the fuck out of me.So I decided to keep it.Then I had one of the guys in my unit,buy it off me the day before I deployed for 3500.He pretty much got a steal.

yea i talked to your friend and went and looked at it. i was liking the shape it was in and was ready to give 3K plus for it, but having to go through him would take time, then i'd have had to move it if he didn't fix it etc...

I didnt really have anything specific planned.I was thinkin mt. trashmore or somewhere big enough to hold people. Im pretty much just trying to get you guys to schedule whatever big meet yall plan on throwing,around my leave time.As well as show me a little homecoming love
