Default Boosting?

After how many miles it a bad idea to boost a car? Im thinking about getting a project car and want to know what mile range I should look at. I dont know if I am ready to tackle a rebuild just yet.

But wait whats wrong with boosting a probe? they actually made turbo probes. And they are not too bad. There was a turbo probe at nopi that ran 12's with not too much work

What kind of car/engine.

If you want to be another jackass with a 'secret project', then my answer is 700k miles.

lol. i really dont know. I guess its a pretty vague question. Im looking for a project. The only thing I have come across so far is a white 240sx and i believe its a 4cyl? its got like 130k there is no tranny but the motor is pretty strong.

Edit: I believe its about a 95.

Hell, for a 240 just get an SR to swap into it. You'll even get a tranny with it.
