Re: Anyone been to SAN ANTONIO TX?
Yes I have and I liked it!!
My friend and I went to the Alamo and drove around the city when we were going cross-country. The Alamo is really small but it was still enjoyable. The cool thing about the city is that the new buildings were built to look old in their attempt to keep their heritage, I guess.
And as you'll notice with almost every town outside of Virginia, the people there were really nice. I'll try to post some pics of the city when I get home.

Its not bad ..the Wagon Wheel is cool, riverwalk isnt bad, lots of mexicans and mexican food, cool malls, good strip clubs, good bars, and a few good dance clubs....
I was there back in 99 for 7 months... I liked it.

I just moved from there a few months ago actually. The city itself is great if you dont mind driving. Its really spread out and can easily take an hour to drive from 1 end of the city to the other. Theres pretty much a little bit of everything inside the city limits and plenty of great mexican food on the southside. If your 21 the river walk has plenty of clubs and restaurants along the water to keep you busy. The only real downsides are traffic on 281 and 1604 is a bitch during rush hour and the city itself can be boring.
lots of extremely hot hispanic girls is def a plus though

Here's the Alamo that was smaller than expected:
New building with an old looking top:
Here's me in a cave about 30 minutes outside of town showing off the goods:
And there's a lot of open space out there. Here's a pic of a storm rolling in:
Like I said, lots and lots of open space :

Re: Anyone been to SAN ANTONIO TX?
yea ive been there definately a crazy city. they have a huge river that runs through out downtown san an. with a huge marriot. car scene is nice. aswell. every friday and saturday they drive in abig circle around downtown san an to show off the cars. alamo is small as hell. much smaller then what i expected. but nice as well. but it seemed kinda segregated to me. if ur in downtown san an and go south thats where the spanish are east is where mainly black people are west is white people. but i still had a blast there. i was theyre for a few weeks to get away from katrina and rita when i stayed in houston.
