Just know that the Caddy CTS-V's have a problem with exploding rear diffs and they're pricey to replace. I was looking at them when I was looking for a new car.

I'd get the Audi. It blow the BMW interior out of the water and the AWD will be nice in the NH winters.

Exploding Diffs on a bone stock car that isn't being sexually abused on the track?

That's where I would disagree with you. I think the interior fit and finish is nicer in the BMW overall. Less use of plastic and more high-end materials... wood, leather, etc.

Lot's of votes and no justification of choices. Tell me why you would choose one over the other and avoid using the words PIMP and BADASS etc.

Check the forums. I'd say a good half have had to replace the differential. It wasn't something that I wanted to chance with.

I like the layout better, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I've never been in a CTS-V, but my friend has a CTS, and it's fuckin' butter! So, if the CTS-V is butter with a Vette engine, I'm all for it.

I would definantly take the A6. I think (and so do most magazine's that test them) that the A6 has one of the nicest interiors in production. It's beautiful AND functional. AWD is a HUGE plus in the winters and that V8 is silky smooth.

The BMW and CTS will both be a little more rewarding when pushed hard (I've never actually driven a 5 series though, so I'm "magazine racing" on this one) but I think the Audi would be the best overall purchase you could make.

its really not that bad, the drift cts-v is still on the origanal diff, they just need new bushings (anti hop)

they dont explode, the houseing cracks from tortion during wheel hop.

dont do burnouts in first gear, do them in second, and you will be ok (says my buddy w/supercharged cts-v)

bone stock other than sus, sidepipes, ant hop bushings and cage

I spoke to dado myself when i was thinking about picking one up

ctsv FTW!!!!

edit, here is the convo with the driver of the above car:
