best alarm system...without going crazy expensive. how much more will it cost to make manual locks into keyless entry

I've always liked Viper. Pretty much anything from DEI (Viper would be my vote) will work great.

Door locks are typically $100 a door (even thought the actual hardware is only about $15 per door)

Are you looking for remote start, etc?

no just basic keyless entry, and a really good alarm, with a paging remote

Viper 791 i believe the model is. it has paging, remote locks, remote start, and disables the starting system while the alarm is armed
