Thats the code for suspension on cars and their height... But its kinda wordy in there (beyond me anyways) on whether or not adjustable suspension is illegal. And if it is, what about Lincolns? They have airbags, right?

Can anyone throw up any VA codes to support this?

 

lincolns arnt manualy adjustable, they adjust automaticly to provide for a smooth ride....
any manualy adjustable suspension is illegal
any suspension modifications (any thing other than stock) is illegal in VA
any exhaust set up other than stock is illegal

there are about 32049872389475230894723895787892304987340993240987 34 clubs and teams on this board. none of them are sanctioned.

there are 25 sanctioned clubs in va. the Virginia Car Club Council has the legislative support and police backing because they do events for charity and the community. if your a member of the VCCC then the police and judges will be more supportive of your mods. trust me, ive seen it happen.
we had a guy in my club get pulled for airbags, they also nabbed hinm for exhaust, lights, tvs and some other things. he took his VCCC paperwork with him and his membership info and they let him offf.

everyone thinks stickers and a webpage makes you a club. well your really not.

get legal guys.

the council meets once a month and you go before them and prove yoursleves and then your immune to a lot of problems.

how do you think the classic cruisers have a 200 + car show every saturday night in yorktown and the cops come out to watch???????

Hey thanks, I got Dado's 1 week old Intrax ARS coilover setup (Intrax springs w/ Koni yellow adjustables.)

I haven't had a fix-it ticket yet in this thing, and I've been pulled over 10 times even.

 

there are some guidelines. nothing too crazy. just every once in a while go to meetings and do something for charity. have a show. donate 100 bucks, and your good to go.

theres a wating period. i think you have to go to 3 meetings then they decide. theres all kinds of cars, everything from bikes, to trucks, to hotrods, to like 1895 farm equipment , my pt cruiser club, and the biggest club around, the Classic Cruisers.
