^ The key is that what he got caught for doesn't really matter.... the fact is that he got caught doing something wrong and it made him sack up and realize there's more to life than whatever he was doing and that there are indeed consequences to your actions.
haha, and heres where your opinion DOESNT apply to me.
when that baby was burned,he decided to never touch it again right? lesson learned right? WRONG,this "baby" didnt "fallback" or "retreat" from drag racing. He developed a way to enjoy the hobby without giving too much of his time, money, and Freedom to the hobby. So unless your "baby" developed a way for other "babies" to not get burned by the same fire..your bullshit opinion has nothing to do with me homeboy. This baby used his "burning" experience as empowerment to become something BETTER than a "burn victim"...so you can take your bullshit somewhere to someone who is dumber than you, because im not that guy.

well I cant convince anyone to believe me.But I know for a damn fact..that if I had never gotten caught that night,my mindset of street racing every weekend, spending ALL my money on cars, and spending ALL my free time with racers(which is very homosexual),would have never changed. All I wanted to do was build a fast street car,and I wasnt going to stop until somebody stopped me.It happened, and It was like a "Wake up call" (I know, thats cliche)..that made me understand theres more important shit in the world, than some metal on 4 wheels. And that I was missing out on a lot of important shit at the age of 20,because I was obsessed with being "Fast" and recognized around Va beach, for having a fast car.
Wow, so sensitive. Does your asshole really burn that much when someone disagrees with you? You seem to have the typical "DragVA" response to someone whom has a difference of opinion. Since when is touching a burner a hobby? Street racing is not a hobby. It is a law breaking act in which you got caught doing. You made the mistake, paid the price, and decided not to do said stupid act. Same thing as said baby. Which is why that statement applies directly to you. Really, calling me stupid? Funny. I didn't almost lose my car and spend a lot of time in jail. Sounds like pot/kettle. I merely posted an opinion. I am free to do so. If you can't take it, keep your sob stories to yourself.
explain to me what price I paid? I paid 300$(250 to get my car out,and 50 dollars to get out of court)...thats nothing to me.I didnt "pay" a price.I learned a lesson.Like I said before,in my opinion, your analogy doesnt apply to me directly, for the simple fact that your "baby" lost his hand, and never touched the fire again.I lost nothing, still enjoy and will continue to drag race cars, and I have a better grip on life than I did before. So you are comparing a baby that loses a hand, and is discouraged from touching fire again,to a 21 year old, with a 401k,a career, money in the bank, and a good head on his shoulders?? yea,I'll be sure to go grab some coffee so you can sit down and explain that one to me.im not gonna call you names,or even get worked up.And if I called you stupid,I apologize, plain and simple.Anything else you want to put across, that corelates me to an infant touching hot objects?
See now had you kept your response to something as acceptable to this, I would have been more accepting to your posts. Instead, you became extremely defensive when there was no need to be. No matter what you say, someone is usually going to disagree with you. How you respond is what defines you as a person.

You cant define someone as a person on an internet website.I could talk shit to you on here, disagree with you, call you names, and then meet you,and we be the best of friends.
im not sensitive,an opinion is an opinion right? you have one and I have one.I just think yours is more geared towards correcting mine.Thats one thing I dont play with,is people trying to correct or change other peoples thoughts and opinions, thats a no no.

Now answer me this. What does saying that you're 21 with 401k and a career have to do with this thread? Because if that's the case I have everything you have the only difference is I'm 25. The baby got burned and never touched the burner again. You got caught and you'll never street race again. Sound pretty relative to me. If a few hundred dollars was the only price you paid, then that's cool. Would you be feeling any different had you lost your car completely? probably not. Maybe you'd be a bit more pissed but I'm sure the outcome would be the same. Which is, no more street racing. If somehow getting caught brought you to the decision to get a job with 401k, odd but hey I stand corrected. In no way, shape, or form am I trying to change your opinion. I just specifically stated mine. How you chose to view that opinion was solely up to you. I saw your post as being pretty much cliche. In the end, you weren't one of the guys that lost their car permanently and you learned not to make that mistake again.

wow,I didnt know this was dr.phil time, lol.I really dont care how you or anyone "accepts" my post on this website.I know how this website is ran, which is why I keep my posts to a minimum.I dont buy into the hype, and the few times I do,are times like this.

Normally, I'd say yeah you can't define someone by posts on the web, but hell we're all local. What you say on here can be brought up in a personal meet you know? Therefore my true personality exists on this site as well as in person. I'm pretty much cool with everyone here. I just like to debate from time to time and post an opinion.

my job has 401k..am i successful now? lol i dont think i am
....everyone uses the word successful in a wrong way, by juding how much money someone makes. Being successful is being able to wake up everyday and honestly be happy at what u do for a living, but still be able to provide for yourself and your dependents. Both my past jobs had 401k. but i hated going to the jobs, which is why i am still officially job hoping while goin to school

if you saw the post cliche, then thats on you.Like I stated before,im not going to convince anyone of anything, because pretty much all that matters is what I learned and achieved out of the whole ordeal. But change can come in many different forms and varieties.for some people it takes a lot of shit, for others, just one small incident. The 401k and etc. doesnt directly deal with the thread, but it pertains to where I was at,and where I am,since the incident,so I (IMO) feel that it has a small bit of relevancy to my post.
its all good though, all in all, lesson learned.
