I wouldn't buy a dodge, but I think they have the best design team. Ford and Chevy seem to be in left field.

 

the new Chevy trucks are junk. Look how chintzy their design is, the front end has so many gaps and the interiors are all plasticky. The sheet metal is so thin that when you look in the rear wheelwell, all you see is space and thin straw like re-enforcement rods. The pic of the 08 looks like they are going to get uglier than ever. Nothing says "get out of my way" like a big chrome smiley face with less ground clearance than a Subaru Outback. I dont know about you all but a truck is a truck..you don't buy one for sleek styling. Thats why the Ford f-250's have had the same front end since 1999 and sell like hot cakes and Ford hasnt changed their style. I guarantee if the Norfolk plant made f250s or f350's it would not be closing.

 

Ford trucks have a decent interior and thats about it. With there gas engines when it comes to power and reliability they have a ways to go. Dodge trucks have good looking exteriors and a "hemi" but the interior has never been nice at all untill there latest models. I agree that the 08 silverado is preaty damn ugly, but chevy trucks are solid. Chevys interior is fine, its all that you need in a truck. You cant really judge the 08 untill you se it in person, I thought the same thing with the new taho's but when i started seeing them driving around they grew on me.
