I've read three articles now, and they all love the car. Hell, I hate Mitsubishi, but I think the car's pretty neat.

Blah blah blah, here's the part I don't get.

Article 1 - 14.5 @ 100

After this I think - that must be some sort of typo, let me look into this.

Article 2 - 14.4 @ 102
Article 3 - 14.9 @ 99

Now, trust me, I understand numbers and cars vary. That's not the point I'm trying to make. I want to know how a car, with the power obviously strong enough to pull it to 100+ mph trap times can only average a mid-14.

I'm seriously puzzled, and if anyone could give me some insight, I would love to hear it. All of the magazines mention that there IS tirespin, but none of them mention tirespin to the point that it would be ripping of a 1/4 a full second slower than what a car should be running with trap speeds like that.

These are from Edmunds, MotorTrend, and another I can't remember.

Those times tell exactly how the car performs. It has alot of power but its slow as crap.

Just because it has higher traps, doesn't mean its capable of lower ETs. I hate it when poeple say " I trap blah blah, so its capable of being faster" Poopra folks do this all the time. They run a incredibly high trap, but with a 13 second timeslip. Well guess what...you have a 13 second car.

 

Take a pic of the '06 Eclipse, put your hand over the front half of the hood/headlights... it looks like the ass of a 350Z/G35. I think it's sorta weird. It's doesn't even look like an Eclipse anymore. I want to go test drive one of them to see how they feel.

Anyone seen the commericials for it yet? I think they should bring back the '03 Eclipse bitch with the weird arm dancing for shits & giggles.
