no official word yet, but Bob Lutz was quoted saying that the Z06 will "suck the doors off of the GT40 and Viper." I'm not exactly sure what he means by "suck the doors off"

Another rumor I heard is the base model will be around 420hp stock.

that and they are probably going to use GM's new "displacement on demand" tecnology - similar to what they tried with northstar, which can shut down 2 or 4 cyl.s as needed... hopefully that will help us get some more cubes without a gas guzzler tax
