Pissed off ex girlfriend?

 

Low profile tires pot holes = bubble in side wall usualy on the inside of the tire . Most people dont check that side for damage tire heats up air expands tire blows . Thats my guess there is no legal action that can take place . Tire rack will have him send in the tire to be checked over . By the look of the tire they will say its his fault . I work for a tire shop we deal with that everyday . PPl buy 40 series tires and hit pot holes and think nothing is going to happen then boom they blow out and its all our fault .

a 225 is really too narrow for an 8" rim, i have 225s on my 17x7s...

 

serious? thats what they come with from factory

 

yeah, honestly i wouldn't run anything less than a 235, probably 245 really. as long as there are no rubbing issues.

 

i had 245 on the rear and that was 8.5"

 

i dunno, like i said mine are 225s and they're mounted on a 7" rim, and they fit perfect, so i bet your beads are stretching away from the tread a bit, but it's highly unlikely that's what caused your problem, lol
