haha....what i find funny is in the thread, the guy is saying it will own all. and that is all. well, the pic that is posted of the "engine swap" is not even a beetle at all, not to mention the car in the pic is black, and the beetle is silver....



and if you read the source for the pic, it has turbolexux/pics/97conversion as part of the file name.

that IC is way too small. and to fit a 2JZ in it the engine will be in the middle of the car pretty much. it can be done, dont get me wrong, anything can be done with the right amount of time and welding, but i am highly doubtful of it.

the posts about them adding "200#s of steel to the frame to strengthen it" was hilarious. the car is unibody....
