1.8T owners???
it might be a better motor than the vr6???? what the fuck are you talking about. here read this. straight from vwoa
Features on the U.S. car will include:
- six-speed MQ350 manual transmission (no DSG transmission for the U.S. market)
- 240hp 3.2l VR6
- 4motion all-wheel-drive
- 18" OZ Aristo alloy wheels
- Climatronic electronic climate control
- brushed aluminum interior accents
- black headliner (unique to U.S. model)
- sunroof
- Konig sport seats with Volkswagen Racing "R" logos embroidery - Monsoon sound system (unique to U.S. model)
- blue powder coated brake calipers
- 334mm (13.1 in.) vented front rotors
- 256mm (10 in.) diameter vented rear rotors
- shortened steering rack (2.5 turns lock to lock)
- same sport suspension setup as the German R32
The only option on the R32 will be an available dealer installed CD-changer and either cloth or leather interior. The high-intensity discharge headlamps from the German R32 won't make it to our market due to DOT regulations that would require a very expensive redesign of the headlamp unit. Volkswagen of America is reportedly going to try and utilize the blacked out headlamp from the U.S. 20th Anniversary GTI instead. We've already ordered our own R32 here at VWvortex and will definitely be looking into procuring a set of European-specification HID headlamps from the aftermarket - we're quite certain these will be a very hot item among U.S. R32 owners.
Colors for the U.S. market will include: Deep Blue Metallic, Tornado Red, Reflex Silver and Black Magic Pearl
The price of the R32 will reportedly be below $30,000 when it arrives but no pricing has been officially announced at this point. Volkswagen is looking to sell around 5,000 R32s in the U.S. with the first cars arriving sometime in December. Unfortunately the R32 will not be available in Canada due to bumper regulations.

I did not say it is but it might. It could become one. No one knows how it will do yet. I mean look at the 1.8l it started back in the 80's and did nothing but get better. Maybe this will happen with the VR6/R32....I am saying i am goping to give it a chance. they do have a 508 HP bug using that Motor. Vdub has soming in mind. Like i said give it a chance.

Chris, your friend (if he's in the states) did not get a R32 yet. They haven't been released. He probably got a 20th anniversary. Is the car blue, yellow or black? The 20th and r32s look almost the same, same wheels and similar look to the front/side.
yea the R32 is the 25th over there in V-Dub land. I also really dont think the VR6 is any good at all. I just thought i would keep an open mind on the R32. You know give it a chance. I like the 1.8 and 2.slow. I am trying to get a 20th. I think that is one of the sporty-est V-Dubs yet.
