00 Civic over heating ( HELP PLEASE )

Default 00 Civic over heating ( HELP PLEASE )

Just the other day as I was sitting at the light my 00 CIVIC started to over heat, the needle would normally sit low but this time it just rose close to HOT please help, I started to replace the small things first i change the thermo stat and gasket, then the radiator then a flush any advice or thoughts

1. Check fluid. Full or not? Has fluid been changed in the past 10 years? If not, flush and change
2. Did the fan crap out?
3. Check radiator for leaks, broken fins etc.
4. Check thermostat and gasket

Update

To ALL

Timming belt and water pump changed at 103k ( currently has 117k)
Radiator was just changed at 117k
thermo stant and gasket changed at 117k ( 185 degrees )
fluid was changed during radiator change
i bubbled it out letting the fan kick on 4x


how do i know if my fan is crap it is 10 years old?
how long does the fan so pose to stay on for ?
