i drove down crawford road 4 or 5 times one day and each time stared into the woods. i found a trail that leads up to the opening of a black tarp taht is draped over somthing like a tent. it made me curious but not enough to get out my car and walk up to it. i havent been down the road at night because my friend drove down there at night and he stoppped at a turn around spot to stare at somthing and all of a sudden headlights came on in 2 directions and it turned out to be the york county police..

on in Hampton on Aug. 16, 1996. The defendants lived nearby.

Atkins and Jones forced their way into his small Nissan pickup at
gunpoint, took him to his ATM machine and made him withdraw money. Then
they drove him 18 miles to Crawford Road and Tower Lane in York County,
a dark, desolate area surrounded by woods.

Nesbitt was found there early the next day. He was dead, lying face
down on the asphalt, with 18 bullet holes in his body. He had been shot
8 times, but many of the bullets went into him, exited and then
penetrated another part of his body.
That mess still pisses me off...especially being an airman and all. Although this happened b4 I even joined.
