that place is a bit hot. I don't go out there for that reason. I remember that they used to race up and down colonial pkwy. Yorktown beach is right next to it. I know that cops still hang around up there. Just my .02

ricers wouldnt lasst at the spot. cops patrol the area a lot. i know ive talked to them all the time while we are sitting down there and none have ever seemed to have a problem. and yes, i remember the racing on the parkway, always thought it was a bad idea, but youve got to remember, just because something is near somewhere doesnt mean the same shit ahppens.
