ok last night i was FOLLOWING my friend and apparently there was a cop who felt like being a dick and wanted to pull her over. well i was behind her (bc i was FOLLOWING HER) so he couldnt( not intentionaly). well we both pull over and the cop tells me to move so i do and move into a parking lot. he lets them go and comes behind me walks up asks for my license and walks back to the car. brings me back a ticket saying that i was obstructing police. What the hell.....i go to court july 13 whats the punishment for that if i get a As$ hole judge.

it's state law that if there is a police vechile behind you with the lights on, you have to pull over to the right.

so you probably deserved what you got since you admit that you didn't want the cop to pull her over, and tried to protect her. you are teh fail, suck it up and pay the ticket.

well i was behind her so he couldnt( not untentionally). Lets notice the unitintionally. i didnt know he was trying to pull her over untill he got behind both of us and turned his lights on then he asked me to move. which i believe i said i did.

 

i dont believe he intentionally did it.. he was behind her, the cop was coming with lights on, they BOTH pulled over to the side, as will anyone in front of you on the same city street, etc.. and then the cop had to ask him to move, is what im getting.

 

I'm with Jus10. I think that he just didn't word it right. The best advice I can give you with the court part, just be respectful(Yes/no sir/ma'am/your honor), be curtious, and be honest. And tell the story right the first time, don't try to back track, because then it looks like your BSing. Even if you left something out, finish the story, then add what you need to, because some Judges aren't able to follow broken-up stories because, after all, who really wants to sit and listen to people, Knowing that half of the people are just trying to cover their ass.

lol thanks i was thinking about writing the timeline down that way i make sure i have everything by next month also to prevent the gaps and trying to go back to cover somethin. you think that would help any plus my buddys coming.



the court time is 9 but ill probably be there around 8-830 you?
