We ride out at Croatan when we are wave jumping, 64th st when we just want to chill and hang out on the beach and meet girlies, and pungo (capt georges) for just about everything else. I'm like you, I go to wherever I feel like it that day. Munden Pt for the fast stuff, Ocean Park (Chicks Beach) for just chillin and Croatan Pendleton Dam Neck for jumping. Although I found out that 2 of the disks in my lower back are almost gone, so I don't do too much jumping anymore. When I do it seems to be choppy but the days of 10+ feet off the water are pretty much over.

Here's my ride, its a 99 Yamaha GP800X, back when Yamahas were light. Bought new in 99.

 

Someone take me out on a jetski, I'll buy gas. My pale ass needs a tan. Last (and only) time I did it was in Lake Mead in Vegas last year

I hurt my ankle on a 6-8ft day last summer at croatan, so I know what you mean, but at least I learned how to superman before hurting myself
