think of it this way, youre not going to feel shit difference between what greaser reccommended and your 'mandrel bent' setup. mandrel bends are overrated as hell as far as N/A slightly modded 4 bangers go. i dont think you 'grasp the idea' of what it takes to build a mandrel bent setup. 1) buy bends 2) buy piping 3) labor hours on a shitload of weld joints so your exhaust can flow a tiny bit better. plus whats the point of a mandrel bent 2.25" exhaust? waste of money if you ask me...

Sure, if it was apparent you didn't grasp what he said the first time.

You should just keep the stock exhaust on your pos and save everybody the migraine of hearing your little honda screaming around town. Your "custom" exhaust isn't going to make you any faster or cooler. Your intake will make the car sound way better than any exhaust you can put on it.

if the customer is looking for a mandrel bent 2.25" system and yelling about the cost of building a mandrel bent system, i always recomend a step up in piping size and crush bend it. when it comes to the bends, its the size the customer wanted in the first place.

fyi, my 11 second pass was on crush bent piping with a 2.5" exhaust.

For what it's worth, JCwhitney sells mandrel bent piping on decent prices. I just received mine for turbo piping. The average price per bent is about $12 from 2.25 to 2.5 inch diameter pipe. You will still have to get the straight section from a muffler shop for the rest of the system. Peace out.....
