I like how this thread has degraded to a pissing match about who is the best tuner. The original question was "where is a good shop I can get a cam and springs installed?"

I'm sure any of the above shop's would do a great job. If I had to get it done, I would use DTP just because of closeness and seeing some of their work. CAM is a good hike away and while my car was tuned by Jeff, I don't think I would take it there for an install. It's just too far away.

Just remember when you get a shop to do your work, YOU care about your car more than any one else. Any shop, good or bad, can have a bad day. I took my car to have gears put in it when it was all but stock. The place I took it to came highly reccomended. Well, 4 days after I got the car back the pinion nut backed off. I was lucky it didn't tear anything up. Every time you let somebody else touch your car you roll the dice no matter what their reputation.

Off-topic, Trent, out of curiosity, who does your tuning? Do you do it yourself or somebody else?

Southern Maryland Tuning, you can find him up on EFA as Dirk Diggler... lol... His name is Larry and he tunes with a wideband, EFI Live, and HP Tuners. He will do drive arounds, but prefers to use a eddy current dyno to simulate different loads. He knows his shit, and has tuned many cars up on EFA.

ok, pretty much he wants a cam, doesnt know who will do it.

i say do it yourself, some people said DTP, some people said CAM, some people said B&L racing...
