HAHA. CPF day what you know about flex arm hang?

 

I know I couldn't do that shit. lol Long jump and softball throw were my best events. I got picked to do softball throw and not long jump, yet I would of won long jump. I got crushed in softball though. Just about everyone in my school who participated came in second in our own school. Tony Bitzan pretty much dominated every event in our school.

 

I got 1st place in the broad jump yo!!!

 

This is why I stopped going to Church. I've been to 2 churches that just wanted my money. I don't really trust any of them anymore.
And more. Haha.

Wave Church ask for money just like every other church, but we put the money back into the community. Just about every month we go out to a location to either fix up a place or feed families. We go to Huntersville Ghetto in Norfolk a lot to clean their neighborhood, and to feed the families. We have also fixed up one of the elementary schools in Norfolk by cleaning the floors, walls, painting, etc. We also take our buses to pick up the families for Thanksgiving / Christmas, and bring them back to our church for a home cook meal. During Christmas we give each of the kids present that we have been donated by members of the church. Wave Church believes in helping others, and that is why I love going there.

 

I go to the Vetrans hospital and take presents and just be there, we have dinner and then start playing cards, got my azz whuped, bad, lol.

It is a lonely place on holidays. I have a buddy there, old guy, fighter pilot, wild stories.

And they do enjoy the company. For females going there watch you ass or it might get a pat, lol

 

+1, by far the best I've been to around here. I've been going there for 22 years. Ascension has been the model for modern Catholic churches for some time and was written about in a book as being the model for modern Catholic churches in the US. Its definitely a casual worship and great community. Check it out, I think you'd like it. They don't beg you for money either.

St Gregories is a little strict for many. I've had friends be told they can't wear certain things there before and they were wearing what few would consider out of the ordinary.

Star of the Sea at the oceanfront is also pretty laid back but there doesn't seem to be as strong of a community, especially during the tourist season.

 

Unless things changed, I've seen people there in t-shirt and jeans.
