Where can I finance a car(Dealers)?

Default Where can I finance a car(Dealers)?

Any dealerships around VA? I got about $1200 to put down, I put in an app at Auto Depot in VA Beach and its been over a week, and they still say the bank hasnt sent them a response yet. So Im looking somewhere where I can get something..... Any help would be appreciated?

as long as your credit doesn't suck, any dealer will finance you. if not them try capitalone auto finance.

never do it at a dealership unless there getting like 0 -4% rate always use a bank.\then go in there one pre aproved with a check and tell them your paying in full and barter away. dont be afraid to get up and walk out untill you get the price you want.

They are lying. It doesn't take any time to get a response from a bank. Most dealers are online with dealertrack these days, which shows approvals and denials in a matter of minutes. It sounds like someone isn't doing their job, or they don't want to hurt your feelings.

Have you ever financed anything before? Any established credit?

If your credit is shaky or you don't have any, a bank is not going to help you unless you have been with them for a LONG time. If you have some "issues" then you need to find a dealer that can work with you. There are first time buyer programs out there, but they are usually for pretty cheap cars.
