What I drive...

Okay, well, you could get a ratty GSX, supercharge it to dangerous levels to beat me and my naturally aspirated 2.8L, my point is, is that I wouldn't get one, that's not me. I think a car is worth more than it's engine, I guess you don't.

It would definitely NOT take dangerous levels of boost for one to beat you and your n/a 2.8L.
My point is, i don't care if you would or would not get one, I'm using it for argument purposes.
I think you're sorely mistaken if you think talons and eclipses are only good for their motor.

Audi guy: what constitutes an average MAKE of cars. Price? Bullshit. You cannot justify yourself calling certain MAKES of cars average, maybe certain MODELS....
Pretty sad when your so called, "average" mitsubishi leaves you in the dust. Be it GSX, VR-4 or EVO, there are plenty of AWD cars here to own you.
...and those are only the mitsu's.
VR-4ever: I've already explained it, I live on the edge of campus and I can look into the commuter parking lot and count up the makes of cars, and there are some Mitsubishi's. There are more Honda's and Dodge's, and others. But you also have to look at the sample space of the cars, these are cars owned by college students, so the averages will change (maybe a little, maybe a lot) if you look in a different universities parking lot. For the sixth time, I know there are some AWD cars that can beat me but I know the Audi can hold it's own. I've never said my car is the perfect car and can beat anything. I'm being realistic, you may scoff at that statement, but it's true.
VR-4's are hardly average though. If I took my Audi against a stock 1994 GSX against my stock Audi, then that would be a fair shoot out and we'd see what's what. That's pretty unfair to put a VR-4 against my Audi, it has more displacement and forced induction. If you think my Audi can overtake that, then you are pretty ridiculous.

Ok.....
I *just* went over that, you have to pay attention to the sample space, re-read what I said again. When I go back home, I don't see that much variation, just less racing stripes and less annoying sound systems, but that's irregardless of make.

It's the closest DSM I could find that could keep up with my car and still have AWD. If Mitsubishi had a 2.8L NA AWD Eclipse, then we'd be all set, but they don't so I made do with what I had.
