I was on my way to starbucks and there were like 20 cops around the intersection of jefferson and oyster point. So, I just turned around and went back to York County. Any idea what was going on?

 

Yea it was nuts i was lucky to make it out without getting pulled.

cops everywhere. pulling people over again. great times to watch, but i didn't get a ticket so i am happy

 

The police were raiding the Costco parking lot. I watched them fly into and out of the neighboring McDonald's lot for over two hours. I'm glad someone mentioned that, because I head up there every Sat. night to meet friends, talk shop, and check out what people in the area are doing with their cars, and the harassment I saw tonight really pissed me off. These kids are sitting in a parking lot, engines off, just talking. By flying into the place with your lights and sirens on, you're forcing them back out into the streets, where they'll race, and get pulled over, or wreck! What's with Newport News' finest and their anti-peaceful assembly attitude?

 

Thats cause you drive a family sedan that a tax attorney would pick

 

well i'm glad i turned around because i didn't need a laundry list of tickets with my new car.

 

shoot heck yea it was like the cops had a contest on who can pull the most people over for the smallest things....
me and a couple friends were at starbucks and we saw the same cop pull like 3 to 4 cars over in a row in the same parking lot.
but over on victory by symantec i heard it was like a pack o cop waiting on the side for imports.

 

This is one of the reasons I dislike the holidays.

 

It wasn't the holiday. They did this about two months ago up there. They don't want people haning in those lots and they are hitting all the imports that are cruising in that area.
