Ya well, was home for a few days down from school. All I could look forward to was driving my car, which I did. I was having some good fun, after finally getting the car running perfect yesterday. But of course, a nice second gear pull, which would have been the last of many for the evening, resulted in udder gear shredding devestation. I cant say that I didnt know it was gonna happen eventually, with it being known that WRXs have weak ass gearsets, but I was hoping to drive it up back to school ! Sorry second gear, I loved you so.

Oh well, time for stronger gears!!

I think you are the first to bork second gear here locally. You are now faced with the old RA gearset option or an STi tranny. Or you could also get the OEM unit again or get the OEM stuff cryo treated, but those would be less desireable options. Best of luck buddy.
