"mr. lamb, do you plead guilty or not guilty to the charge of illegal exhuast?"...."guilty"... "what have you done with the vehicle?"... "i took the exaust off and put the factory back on."... "officers do you see any reason i shouldnt dismiss this charge?".... officer1 "no, sounds good to me your honor"... officer2 "your honor, i saw matt pull into the parking lot with the same car and the same exaust that me and officer1 pulled him over for"
OH SHIT!!!!
judge "mr lamb why did you lie to me?"... "your honor im not lying, i change the exhuast i just have a polished tip now"... "mr lamb, i see you just turned 18, im charging you with contempt of court, you will spend 10 days in jail, i will suspend 9 of those and you must change the exhaust back to factory within 10 days or you will serve the other 9. bailiff take him away"
i was put in cuffs and spent 24 hours that day... it fucking sucked! i dont know why i was or what told me to wear em, but luckily i had on PLAIN white underwear and socks... so i got to keep them on under the orange suit.
moral of the story is... DONT LIE IN COURT!:d

both my parents had to work and it was a school day so no friends could take me.

it all depends on the mood of the judge! I recently went to court for a reckless doin 81 in a 55 on 264 also. All the judges in VA BCH all look angry like 24/7 so really can't tell the mood. I took it to court with a lawyer...i recomend one!...and i had taken the driving school class and my speedometer was off by 10 mph. I had it checked, fixed and rechecked. Still the judge sentenced me guilty...and it was my 1st moving violation. He said since this is your 1st ticket...u shoulda off known better. WTF? Everyone makes mistakes!! So I appealed it. Luckily i won the appeal and got it reduced to juss speeding. The judge i appealed to was pretty nice...i juss hope u don't get an ass judge. I'm not gonna lie...I was scared...I coulda been sentenced in jail or have my license supspended for a while....GET A LAWYER!! IT MAKES YOU LOOK BETTER IN COURT! and be respectful to judge...even if they are assholes...

when i got my reckless i heard i was going to jail from everyone! i ended up going to the court house and there was mad cases before me. and all of the people had these long drawn out stories that took for ever. so the judge said fuck it and called a recess because he was so pissed it was going on so long. and he says every one that wants to just pay the fine can pay it. every one gets in line to start paying and an other dude with a reckless goes to the clerk before me and she says no, he has to have his case heard. but that judge said any one that just wanted to plead guilty could pay and go. BOOYEAH 125 dollars and i took my happy ass home. never was i so stoked to pay a fine. hope you luck out, at least there is some hope. oh, that was in portsmouth though.

I have only been there once. It was for a wreckless driving ticket too. I was driving my friends car at the time of the ticket so i explained to the judge that it wasn't my car and i was unaware of its power that it had. She looked at my driving record and since that was my first ticket in VA she reduced it to improper speeding. So i went home with a $76 fine.
