I talked directly with Gene in which he told me that the two of them were no longer getting along and that was the reason they were closing. Maybe Chris will open up another shop, and i hope he does. I am fairly confident that the two of them wont open up a shop together though.

They are both members of this board, so maybe one will chime in.

I couldn't be any more dissapointed in the unfortunate closing of Tuners Edge. I had ALL of my work performed there (totalling thousands of dollars) and I tried bringing them business whenever and wherever I could. The work done for me was always very meticulous and professional and I was never ONCE let down.

Chris and Gene are both excellent mechanics and people, and I cannot wish them enough luck. I hope you guys read this and see how much I truly appreciate everything you guys have done for me, including even the smallest of things such as emergency oil return repair welds to even the smallest bit of advice.

Good luck guys, you both know you have my support 110% and that I wish you both nothing but the best of luck and success.

 

my gsx is there now. it should be done today (friday). i think chris told me they had 2 other cars besides mine. im also pretty disapointed. even though this is the first time i've gone to them chris seems like he knows what the hell he's doing and he definately got me some good prices with quick quotes.

edit: yeh, the people from rawspeed have let me down. Didn't they say early october?

 

Chris definately knows his DSMs. And yes I think Rawspeed was originally scheduled for opening sometime in October.
