Default tuned again

ok well we made 343hp and 207 tq on 15psi. and we were tunning on C16 when the 255 fuel pump took a sh*t, so now we have a walbro 395 and we'll probably wait to tune with the new manifold we're building. when we started tunning on C16 we made 346hp at 12 psi so we were on our way to some good numbers cuz we were going to be tunning at around 22psi by the end of the night. i'll post up the C16 numbers when i get them.

looks like they were looking for higher hp numbers but the fuel pump failed.

what does being below 400 hp have anything to do with whether we run C16 or not? we dont like to boost anything over 15 psi on pump gas and we like to keep it very safe (ie not a whole lot of timing or boost)...its not like its a huge threat or anything it's just a rule we like to go by. if the owner of the car wants to have more on pump gas because he'll probably never run race gas then we do but we kept mine at a modest boost level for pump gas. when we tune on C16 we are obviously tuning for much higher numbers at much higher boost and plenty more timing. its not like we maxed out all we could on pump gas then went for C16. over 400 is easily done on pump. we keep it at an everyday level on pump and we go all out on race gas. thats kinda a wierd question. im not sure what you're getting at.
the pump was the reason for shit numbers when we started on the C16 tune. making more power at lower boost barely straying from the basemap we built before we even started the car was good....but the pump went to shit rather quickly after that first run. with changes we hope to be making in the upper 400's on this turbo
