I'm looking at taking one of the skiworld day trips to either snowshoe (preferred) or massanutten/wintergreen. anyone up for it? i might try and go in december?

 

I went to wintergreen last thursday, and the conditions were great. It was a little foggy, but it was snowing, there was 5-6" of powder on top of the packed base, best I've ever seen it at wintergreen. I'd go with you, but I'm going to Seven Springs the first week in Jan..

 

haha i think i bought my lift ticket to snowshoe from you last year carter!!! But me and some frineds are taking a weekend trip to snowshoe if you want to go its cool w/ me. Leaving the 6th of jan after 6-7pm staying at my place in the mountains. (its like an hour from snowshoe) then going there from 8am to 9pm on saturday then staying at the house againg sat night. then coming home sunday morning. i made the mistake of making a day trip out of it 1 time and ill never doing it again. 5-6 hour drive after going all day owned my ass.

 

I'm not goin' snowboarding again until I get my board. Fuck those rental POS's.

Yep rentals anywhere blow ass. The boards suck and the boots hurt your feet. Snowshow has a new thing where you "try out" the newest stuff for a little more money. i think i might do that this year.

I might go up to Wintergreen on the 26th. I guess a bustrip wouldnt be that bad of a deal with lift included.
