I heard Lou worked all night sometime last week and treated the track. Anybody know if this was with the DHT or something else. Did it make a noticable difference in traction? It was a little too slippery for me with all the humidity before, just wondering if it is safe to bring the EVO out again.

It was crazy humid this last time and it seemed to stick just fine. It had been three weeks since my last time out there so I can't really say it was better or worse than before, but it definitely didn't feel unsafe.

I was there 2 time before the treated and right after they treated it. And I have to say the track is so much better now. I didn't feel like I was about to slide into the wall at all. Track was extremely sticky, even after the type r blew and dumped oil all over it.

heh, he barely put any oil down. We're used to 350 chevrolete's blowing motors. We almost couldnt find the oil it was so little And believe me, we WILL NOT let you out on the track if we feel it is unsafe to race on. We dont like seeing people in the wall anymore than you like the idea of being in the wall. Yes Lou, John, and I VHT treated the track after Wed (not the last one, but the one before). We stayed there till 4am thursday morning. All that stuff does is pull the rubber off of the race car tires. No one is actually running on VHT. They are running on the rubber that our race cars put down...which is why (if you noticed) the track looks alot darker, almost black.

Are you Troy's friend that was out there about a month and a half ago?
