tinting a silver car
35 might look dark from certain pics, trust me it's not, you can still see right in the car from 10-30 ft. away just like clear glass. I know when I go to get a car tinted I want to know if I'm beside you on the highway I can see you but you can't see me.

Dark tint is great on a silver car, I got a silver coupe with 13% Solar Guard tint. Had it for over a year, although I know 2 other cars that has had Solar Guard over 5 years, still looks great. Llumar is good too, but its more about who puts it on, I got it done in FL. Im new here, didnt know cops are so serious about tint in VA. Mine is real dark, the contrast with dark tint and silver is good, but all depends on if your willing to live with any tickets. I havent had any problems with NN police yet, but my windows are down when Im at the beach.
Regarding the cops... there is a technique I've found that while not foolproof does reduce the chances of a tint ticket. If you get pulled over, get the windows down and put your hands on the upper left portion of the steering wheel. If it's dark out, put on all your dome/interior lights. Cops don't like tint bcz they want to see you as they approach. They want to know you aren't pointing a sawed-off at them. This won't work on every cop/jurisdiction, but most reasonable officers will be a bit more at ease.

damn right that shit wont work on every cop. Sounds the same as when people used to say "OH SHIT ROLL DOWN YOUR WINDOWS THE COPS ARE COMMING"

(So people can't see me.)
