...We all know that the legal limit in VA is pretty shitty, 50/35. My question is how many of you are rolling around with illegal tint and VA plates? Something like 35 all around? Im thinking about getting the windows tinted, but I dont think its worth it to drop $120-$150 on something you can hardly tell is tinted.

 

Not too many people get pulled over for tint. A tint ticket is usually an add-on to another violation you get for being a jackass.

 

Gotcha, I was thinking about 35% in the front too, shouldnt be a big deal since my windows are down 99% of the time, even in the winter.

But can they write you a ticket in a parking lot for something like that?

 

I have 35% all the way around and I've never had a problem. Go for it, it's really not that dark what so ever.

You'd be suprised at what police CAN do. 9 times out of 10 you're not gonna get a ticket in a p-lot for having tint that's a lil below legal limit.

 

I have 20 and haven't had a problem yet. I did get pulled in my other car for it but thats because there was a bunch more shit that caught his eye. But in my rentect car i haven't even been glanced at for tint

i've gotten nailed twice in two weeks for no front plate.both on greenbrier parkway

 

I dont drive my car everyday, only on weekends if that. I did drive it everyday for about a year and never had a problem. Just one of those things I guess.
